Ms. Hema Ravi

Independent Senior Consultant — Language Excellence & Editorial Governance

Ms. Hema Ravi is an accomplished language professional with over three decades in English Language Teaching, specializing in IELTS preparation, communicative English, and soft skills for diverse learner groups in academic and corporate settings. She is British Council Train-the-Trainer certified and is widely recognized for learner-centric methodology and creative instructional design.

Her experience spans higher-education programs and executive learning. She has trained undergraduate cohorts and school learners through initiatives at IIT Madras (including STEAM programs for girls and virtual communication skills), and has delivered business English and soft-skills interventions for mid-level executives in technology firms. Earlier, she held teaching and training roles in leading schools and academies in India and the UAE, strengthening classroom delivery, mentoring, and assessment practices.

At Case Veda, Ms. Ravi advises on Language Excellence & Editorial Governance — conducting language audits for case studies and teaching notes, enforcing house style and terminology standards, and elevating clarity, coherence, and accessibility across all learner materials. She designs and delivers faculty workshops on outcome-based writing, audience-aware communication, and error-pattern remediation, leveraging her background in learning-disability support and her fluency in English, Hindi, and Tamil to ensure inclusive, high-impact pedagogy.
