DR. V.P. SARMA

Senior Consultant – Management Studies & Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).

Dr. V.P. Sarma is a senior academician, researcher, and policy consultant with over three decades of experience in Economics, Management Education, Development Research, and Content Design. With a rare blend of academic rigor, policy insight, and a deep grounding in Indian knowledge systems, he brings holistic perspectives to both pedagogy and enterprise.

A Ph.D. in Economics from Osmania University, Dr. Sarma’s academic expertise spans Managerial Economics, Development Studies, Environmental Economics, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, and International Business. He has taught at premier institutions such as ICBM-SBE Hyderabad, BIMTECH Noida, GITAM Visakhapatnam, IIIT Hyderabad, and several others. He has also served as Course Developer for global e-learning platforms, including projects associated with Washington, Berne, and Osmania Universities.

Dr. Sarma has held research and consulting roles with reputed organizations such as the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare (IIHFW), National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), and World Bank–supported studies. His work includes policy evaluations, health economics research, entrepreneurship mentoring, and vocational training content. He has also developed certificate programs in Business Modeling for Entrepreneurs and Content Writing.

With deep insights into Indian socio-economic systems, IKS frameworks, and rural enterprise models, Dr. Sarma actively integrates Bharatiya knowledge paradigms into modern curriculum and training modules. He has contributed to the National Family Health Survey, conducted studies on SC entrepreneurship under globalization, and published on IPR, inflation, and inter-state economic disparities.

As Senior Consultant – Management Studies & IKS, Dr. Sarma collaborates with Case Veda and allied institutions to infuse value-based economic thinking, indigenous business models, and context-sensitive pedagogy into modern management education and research.
